Ughhhh I want Jimmy John’s so bad and think I’m going to cave soon and get my delicious Vito sandwich. Who else has caved and eaten lunch meat?!

Literally was one of my Cravings™ in first trimester. Baby wanted mayo and I figured the easiest way was JJ delivery. OB said as long as it's not from some sketchy street vendor or anything then deli meat is fine.

Can you get a veggie instead? I have been eating the veggie wraps and subs with no lettuce and they have been hitting the spot!

I should’ve just set up camp outside my local Jersey Mikes my last (third) pregnancy…I legitimately ate it ALL the time. And my first pregnancy I ate a Subway turkey foot long almost everyday
…both kids are alive and well

You're exactly as likely to get listeria from deli meat as you are from ice cream or pre sliced fruit.
Eat the sandwich! It's seriously fine!!
I've been eating deli meat, hotdogs, etc both my first pregnancy and this one with zero issues.

Thank you everyone!!! I enjoyed my craving today while doing a happy dance the whole time pregnancy is hard enough and now I can focus on something else other than thinking about how badly I wanted one! lol

I’m avoiding it to be on the safe side, but one of the first things I’m going to want after my son’s birth is an Italian sub. that and coffee ice cream (I’m choosing to avoid caffeine altogether).
