How to Check Your CSL Plasma Card Balance

You can check the balance on your CSL Plasma prepaid card in the following ways:[1][2]

  • By phone: All prepaid debit cards, whether it’s a blue card, black card, or red card, have a phone number on the back, which you can call to check the balance of your card.
  • Through the app: The CSL Plasma app is available through Google Play or the Apple Store.
  • Using the marketing kiosk: Kiosks allow you to check your balance in person at your local CSL Plasma Center.
  • Sign up for texts: You can text “join” to 33433 to register your phone number and receive a text with instructions for checking your card’s balance.

Depending on the method you choose, you may need to provide your donor ID number. Donors receive this when they make their first plasma donation.[2]

If you lose your donor ID number, the only way to retrieve it is to visit your local CSL Plasma Center, where a customer service representative will be able to assist you.[2]

iGive Rewards Balance

CSL Plasma donors can earn points for completed donations, surveys, and other activities through iGive Rewards.[3][2]

For every 1,000 iGive Rewards points, you can add $10 to your prepaid debit card balance.[1]

To check your points balance or use your points, log in to your iGive Rewards loyalty account.[3]

Note that the maximum number of points you can have at any given time is 20,000.[1]

Tip: The number of points CSL Plasma rewards you depends on your membership level — Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. The more you continue to donate plasma, the higher your membership status (and the points you earn) will be.[1][2]

Declined Transactions

CSL Plasma reloadable cards don’t come with overdraft protection, so you can only spend as much as your current balance.[2][4][5]

If your card is ever declined, it may be because you don’t have sufficient funds to cover the transaction.[2]

If you check your balance and find that this isn’t the case, you’ll need to contact the phone number on the back of yourcard to find out the problem.[2]
