I was a member of LSA from 2011 to 2017, I was banned in late 2018 for arguing with The Admin about how the website was being run.
REINCARNATE was what I screamed out loud after being banned!
I wouldn't class myself as an oldhead font but I was there for years. I don't recall doing anything to anyone. I was getting warnings for no reason. People were falsely flagging me for things I didn't do.
Because the owners had a vendetta against me for what I said they ensured that I be bullied by them and the users. And I know that the admins can control ANY account on LSA. Any OLD account. They also give away accounts too to people. You can buy LSA accounts on the BM too.
There was a Black woman's account who was once a member from 2006? The difference in her lingo and posting differed to the original poster. Obvious that someone else was using her account. And other people too.
Some users will vanish and never return and then return as someone new. In reality they are accounts being reused by moderators to bump threads or cause chaos or destruction. It always works.
I realized that The Admin wasn't who she once was and is now someone else. The old admin she used to joke a little or make her presence known. But the person who took over was more hateful in comparison.
Of course I like most fonts have like 5 or more accounts from different IPs, so I am not really banned. They have a detector you see. So if you use the same devices they know who you are just by your phone, laptop or computer. So # you The Admin of Lipstick Alley. These days I just lurk, I no longer engage.
The website was originally a fansite for Eddie George. It was Black owned and was a website for African American women. They figured that they talked so much trash on there, that they should sell it. Eventually the Black woman who owned LSA sold it to white people.
The white people who now own LSA are creeps. They sometimes hire like Black mods or non-Black people. Africans and Europeans started moderating, and then eventually AI (auto-mod) partially took over some of the forum because most of the fonts (users) are known stalkers.
I stupidly linked my Facebook and real email when I first joined. So I was eventually doxxed by people who asked the moderators and The Admin for my private and personal information. This was over a petty little argument, nothing to doxx me over. My experience was being doxxed.
I knew the mods had something to do with it. How could someone who doesn't know me or my personal information obtain it? That was an inside job. Some of the mods are petty and change a lot.
Non-Black (African), white or Latin (a) mods who just are miserable. They can't even stand Black people. Since 2018, the mods are all different. Some have quit, because one did expose LSA before she quit. She shared her story of how they wanted to clean LSA and remove some of the toxic users.
Which was a waste of time because those rejects often return or have more than one account. What is the point? But yeah they know who is who. They have a IP / user detector. You make a new account? They know it is you again. They often keep is a secret and give people second chances depending on their previous actions.
For example someone called Stacey was banned and she returned as Stacey01 or Stacey1, she was, no is an idiot troll. If they ban her in the future, she will likely return as Stacey02 - no shame.
I knew how toxic LSA had became by then. Suddenly they were opening doors for different races of people. Now we knew people who were in digital Blackface were active but not where they could take advantage of the situation by posting hateful stuff to demean AA and Black people.
The website is now integrated, but people still do the digital Blackface. They feel validated when they post racist things on the forum.
Of course there are many self-hating Black people on there already who accuse everyone of being white. Even when you are not.
At one point people were abusing proxies on the website and kept making dud accounts with fake emails up until they blocked it.
The people bullying and stalking one another on there got so bad that they had to create a two way block. And those people still to this day have not changed and are stalking one another. Thanks to the auto-mod a lot of the idiots are put on time-outs or benched. Many of the hot headed members don't seem to understand boundaries.
There are a lot of people from different sectors. They are also on different forums or YouTube sectors. Depending on what forum you are in, you will engage with different people. Some users are serious stalkers.
So they will stalk you but if you return the favor they will cry that you are the stalker. I dealt with a stalker on LSA, and she was so upset that she filed a police report on me. It did nothing, as she herself was guilty of stalking, also I kept the evidence against her. She and others are unwell.
Most of the users of that website are mentally ill too.
They have gangs on there that do stalk and harass people. Because of the limited warnings they get, they think nothing of it. LSA thrives on bullying. Even though they brought in new rules, it still does to this day.
If you want to be a member of LSA and are there just for gossip. Don't engage, unless you are a baddie, just lurk. If you want to be a member, you must make over 500 posts or so. Some people less.
I would suggest using a library or internet cafe to engage. Don't use your personal devices unless you don't care. If you get into arguments, or if you become liable for defamation to a "public figure" LSA will not be blamed, you will, which is why they do the whole ID thing now.
It is YOUR lawsuit now. LSA won't help people who are trying to sue if they themselves don't know much about the individual who is posting.
Use a dud email and be careful what you post or who you contact on LSA.
There are fonts always saying please DM or PM. Don't do it. They are data mining when they message you.
You will also have the odd celebrity make a post here or there. Doja Cat was once an anonymous member. The Kardashians have people who clean threads or try to control them.
Also Taylor Swift has some kind of control. This is supposed to be a Black website, why are these non-Black people being promoted on there?
Kim Kardashian or Taylor Swift are not people I want to hear about.
Also non-Black people joining the forum, being racist, getting upset when being called out. If you are going to do that, don't join. You will be called out and they eventually shamed, names and banned.
