Hey everyone did a fair amount of looking around and can not find any Miata clubs in my area. I wanted to start this thread and see if I could find some local owners that might be interested in getting some gatherings started. I am located outside of Clarksburg WV.

Travis, I used to live in C-burg. Yes...you are right. No Miata Clubs in WV but...That's why I joined the West Penn Miata Club. They cover SW Pa. and WV. We have a member there in C-burg. :jump:

Mr. Bond, does West Penn have an updated calendar of events? The one on their site looks awfully last year-ish. I see they cruise down this way occasionally and have thought about joining.
By the way, you have probably passed within 50' of my house. That stone house just north of the Mon-Marion border next to a yellow warehouse that looks way too close to the I-79 southbound lane? That's me.

WPMC hasn't updated for the new year yet. The planning meetings are normally in March or April. Just keep an eye on it.

Between Bond, Travis and the Miata I just saw for sale in Lost Creek on Craigslist, and given the population of Lost Creek, a guy could get the impression that 1 out of every 5 drivers in or from Lost Creek drives a Miata!

Hey travism I would be up for something of that nature when it finally warms up around here. Do you know any others from the area?

Well it looks like the weather is warming up. Anyone interested in getting together for a drive say the first weekend in May? I can try to pull together a route unless someone has a known one they would be willing to lead.

I'm game, although between kids and work overflow my weekends tend to disappear.
Travism, you wouldn't happen to be the driver of that red NA I sometimes see at the stoplight turning left off of Nasa Blvd around quittin' time would you?

silasm - if it is the red NA with a hard top that'd be me.
TravisE - I'm not a member of any local club now. I used to live south of DC and was a member of Chesapeake Area Roadsters and really enjoyed that club.

I saw you again today around 4:30, I was the gray NC turning right while you were turning left off of Nasa Blvd.
TravisE, I have been thinking about joining West Penn, or at least trying out a cruise with them.

Just saw this thread. I drive a 95M. I live in Preston County, but work in Clarksburg and drive the Miata to work almost every day. There is a club in Morgantown that is MVSCC (Mon Valley Sports Car Club) that does some track days and a few drives each year. It is not for any particular make, bit it is a bunch of good guys and gals having fun. If you want more info just send me a message.

Hey all, I used to be in Westover, but now in Bruceton Mills. Driving my little 10ae around and feeling lonely! Actually, my boss has a red 01 he got because he was jealous of all the good weather I got to enjoy! Give a shout out if anything is going on!
