Section 2 Chicago Tribune, Saturday, February 26, 1972 Niles Youth Killed in 2-Car Crash One man was killed and one was injured yesterday in a car accident in Palatine Road west of Wolf Road, near 1 Wheeling. Michael Pahnke, 19, of Ebinger Niles, was pronounced dead at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, where the driver of the other car, Thomas Hurst, 31, of 207 Longsdale Prospect Heights, 1 was reported in fair condition. County Sheriff's police said Pahnke's auto skidded on snow, crossed the center line and was struck by Hurst's car. Charged in Death An Internal Revenue Service attorney yesterday was charged with involuntary manslaughter for the hit-run death Thursday of a Skokie man. Skokie police charged Samuel Saruk, 45, of 10102 Old Orchard Skokie.

He was arrested several hours after Sidney Berliant, 54, of Cherry was struck by an auto as he crossed Skokie Boulevard two blocks from his home. Witnesses provided police with the car's license number. Tells of Bump Saruk told police he felt a bump on his right front fender as he drove in Skokie Boulevard but did not stop. He also was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian, and failure to give aid to an accident victim. Saruk was scheduled to appear March 14 in the Skokie branch of Circuit Court.

As of midnight Thursday, 74 persons had been killed in traffic accidents in Cook County since Dec. 31. Thirty of them were in Chicago, where 5,130 persons were injured in the same period. J. B.

Moore, 64, Prominent Attorney, Dies Jackson B. Moore, 64, prominent tax attorney, died yesterday in his home at 400 E. Randolph St. Mr. Moore specialized in tax law with Kirkland, Ellis, the law firm he was associated with for more than 30 years.

He was a graduate of ChicagoKent School of Law and of Dartmouth College. He is survived by his widow, Edith; three sons, Kenneth Terry L. and Craig two sisters; and four grandchildren. Worker Drowns as Pipe Breaks in Pit at O'Hare A plumber, called to repair a broken water valve, drowned in a shallow pit outside the American Airlines hangar at 0'Hare International Airport last night. Robert Grabner, 4511 Idlewood Lane, Hillside, an employe of Great Lakes Plumbing and Heating 4521 W.

Diversey was in the pit with two other men working on a pipe which feeds the hangar's emergency sprinkler system when the pipe apparently broke, flooding the pit. Fire department officers called for a scuba diver to recover the body, but Grabner was taken from the pit before the diver arrived. Labor Leader Found Guilty on Dope Charge Anthony Esposito, 35, secretary-treasurer of the politically powerful County Municipal Employes and Foremen's Union, Local 1001, was found yesterday in Federal District Court of possession and distribution of one-fifth of a gram of cocaine. Esposito was arrested last October by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents after agreeing to sell a smail amount of cocaine to an informant. A small amount of the drug was taken from under Esposito's fingernails after his arrest.

Judge Thomas R. set April 4 for sentencing of Esposito who could get up to 15 years in prison a $25,000 fine on each of the two counts. A jury of six men and six women deliberated three hours. Lloyd W. Lehman Lloyd W.

Lehman, 72, of Edgewood River Forest, attorney with offices at 111 W. Washington St. and president for 10 years of the BroadviewWestchester State Bank, died yesterday in Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital. He was attorney many years for the late Jane Addams, noted social worker.

He is survived by his widow, Margie; two sons, Lloyd school superintendent of Forest Park, and John, Bellwood village clerk and controler, and five grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at 1 p. m. March 4 in St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Lathrop A Avenue and Lake Street, River Forest.

Mrs. Ruth M. Wooden Obituaries Dr. Rocco V. Serritella Mass for Dr.

Rocco V. Serritella, 57, of 1134 N. Woodbine Oak Park, will be held at 10 a. m. Monday in St.

Giles Roman Catholic Church, 1045 N. Columbian Oak Park. Dr. Serritella, who died Thursday in his home, was a urologist with offices at 28 W. Madison St.

He was attending urologist at Cook County Hospital, where he also taught interns. He practiced at Lorretto, Gottlieb Memorial, Northlake and Franklin Boulevard Community Hospitals. He is survived by his widow, Ruth; two daughters, Mrs. Manuella Morelli and Mrs. Anita Signorino; two sons, Robert and Vincent; and a brother.

Dr. Alfred J. Le Pak Mass for Dr. Alfred J. Le Pak, 59, of 788 Lenox Glen Ellyn, will be said at 10 a.

m. Monday in St. Petronille Roman Catholic Church, 420 Glenwood Glen Dr. Le Pak, who died Wednesday in Hines Veterans Hospital, formerly was in private practice in Glen Ellyn. He had been a member of the Federal Aviation Administration Medical Examining Board in Chicago since 1960 and was a flight surgeon during World War II.

Survivors include his widow, Doris; two sons, Gregory and Eric; a daughter, Janet; and two grandchildren. Bernard S. Okner A memorial service is being arranged for Bernard S. Okner, 89, of 6132 N. Avers who died Wednesday in a Scottsdale nursing home.

At his retirement he was owner of and an engineer for Industrial and Automotive Bearing Co. of Chicago, which has merged with another firm. He is survived by his widow, Rose; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Byman and Mrs. Lillian Feinberg; a son, Dr.

Henry five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister. John P. McKeague John P. McKeague, 80, of 9725 S. Karlov Oak Lawn, died yesterday in an Oak Lawn convalescent home.

He retired in 1956 as operating superintendent of the Chicago, West Pullman, and Southern Railroad. Mr. McKeague is survived by his widow, Alice; two sons, John J. and Roger six grandchildren; four sisters; and a brother. Mass will be said at 10 a.
